Quality Assurance and Safety of Crops & Foods (Q1, Food Science) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes research and review papers on the quality and safety of food and food sources, including cereals, grains, oilseeds, fruits, root crops, and animal sources. It targets both primary materials and their conversion to human foods.
The focus of the special issue
The special issue aims to explore interconnected approaches and innovative solutions to address the complex challenges at the intersection of environmental sustainability, food safety, and crop quality. Emphasizing the nexus thinking inherent in the conference themes, we seek contributions that integrate sustainable agriculture, food security, and environmental conservation perspectives. The goal is to advance knowledge and strategies that enhance the safety of crops and foods within the context of broader sustainability considerations.
